Hello all, whelp I don't own a Shelby however am a Ford/Shelby lover to the core, bleeding blue. I still own the 65 Mustang I had in High school and set up like a GT350. Growing up in Laguna Niguel and attending Dana Hills High, Ortega Highway was our play ground. We would head out every day after school to "the Teg's" and run to Elsinore and back. In about 1980 I learned about Lynn's open track at Willow and I was hooked. The Mustang (Boris) went up on Jack stands while we raised a family and when the kids were in college it was time to get back in it. Always wanting a FIA Cobra and being a bit out of my budget, LOL, I asked Lynn Parks who made the best kit, his response was ERA. I headed back to Connecticut about 5 yrs ago to sit in one and it just so happened that their factory sponsored FIA Bob Bondurant/Phil Hill Cobra recreation was for sale. Campaigned on the east coast, spares and all. Done, saved me 3 yrs build time and cost less. I also just resurected an original 30K mile 1964 Galaxie R code with the Transistor ignition out of Buffalo NY. Bought it in boxes and everything was there except thee window wiper arms. My wife Diane owns a 2016 GT350 Tech Pac she drives daily. See FORD to the core.
